Hong Kong Book Exhibition closed on July 26.  The Daughters of St Paul was one of the exhibitors in the Catholic books region. This year our recommended books included Sr Grace Lee’s new book “My Beloved Bible”, "Children's Prayer"; "Living with Jesus", "The Secrets of Emotions" etc.  We also highly recommended the videos about St Philip Neri and Pope Paul VI," and the CD "Lift Up Your Heart” with songs sung by the Daughters of St Paul in the US.

Hong Kong Book Exhibition closed on July 26.  The Daughters of St Paul was one of the exhibitors in the Catholic books region. This year our recommended books included Sr Grace Lee’s new book “My Beloved Bible”, "Children's Prayer"; "Living with Jesus", "The Secrets of Emotions" etc.

We also highly recommended the videos about St Philip Neri and Pope Paul VI," and the CD "Lift Up Your Heart” with songs sung by the Daughters of St Paul in the US. At first, we felt inadequate for the task in terms of ability and experience.  We felt that we would only be an embarrassment in front of the audience.  But under the encouragement and support of Sr Grace, we took up the responsibility.  We took heart from the examples of the Christians in the early church.  These disciples were not professionals, neither were they doctors of philosophy or highly educated people.  They were just fishermen and ordinary people.  But because of their trust in God, they could perform wonders in their services for God.  During the i-Talk sessions, we recommended books to the audience as well as introducing to them the Pauline Family, its history and mission.  It was a good opportunity for apostolic work.  

Thank God for helping us in doing the i-Talks.  In fact, when we encounter difficulties and worries, all we have to do is to believe that Jesus is with us and not to be afraid.  He will give us strength and courage through the Holy Spirit to overcome our fear and difficulties.
