I have been blessed to know my Co-Foundress, Mother Thecla Merlo, in her lifetime.
I made my First Profession of religious Vows in 1963 in Rome and Mother Thecla passed into eternity in 1964.
I hope that you can get to know her by watching this short profile, and that she can touch your heart with her warm and vibrant personality. Her life is an amazing story of extra-ordinary faith, of such loving care for her Sisters and the other members of the Pauline Family and of great holiness.
The Founder, Blessed James Alberione, entrusted everything to her, to help the new congregation Daughters of St Paul, to start its life and to progress to all parts of the world. She is really a Mother to all of us. May she intercede for us from heaven.
